His Bach Cello Suites was the best interpetation so far. YoYo's record was not in the same class. I have watched him live not only as a cellist but also as a conductor. He was just so amazing. I guess next week RNCM's Cello Fastival will pay a tribute to him. YoYo will attend this event as well. Alex, buy a copy of Rostropovich's Bach Cello Suites for yourself, worth every single penny! IMO he was the best cellist in our time. His Bach Cello Suites was the best interpetation so far. YoYo’s record was not in the same class.
