I watch Casino Royale last night and it was much better than I have originally imagined. Just like you I dont like Craig at first but as the movie goes on Craig acts more like an agent with flesh and blood ... at certain point i think he's as good as Jean Connery (Craig also has a "Putin" feel which makes him more persuasive a "secret agent look" than Moore or Brosnan).

We, at certain point, are all rookies. First time for a new job, first time meeting a client, first time kissing a girl etc etc. Of course whether you can develop into an expert of your field is another story.

Texas Poker is not as complicated as you describe. It's quite like ordinary poker. The difference being that the player's two card can arrange any combination with the dealer's hand and whatever higher hands win. So actually it's a game with combination of 5 out of 7 cards. I recall the recent poker championship appearing on the headline of Apple Daily also use Texas Poker.

There is lots of interesting trivial things that helps explaining the builidng up of the latter Bond character so even without all the gadgets i think this is one of the better Bond movies within the latter series.

Just my two cents
