的而且確，在六十年前的今天，世界從此不一樣。六十年前的今日，進行「曼克頓計畫」的美國科學家，在新墨西哥州阿拉莫戈多沙漠，進行了「三位一體實驗」（Trinity Test），試爆了全球第一個原子彈（上圖）。
六十年前，日本廣島及長崎，成為了被原子彈轟炸的城市。六十年後的今天，不少國家都擁有核武，但更大的威脅，是我們根不知道，恐怖分子或極端主義分子，是否已擁有小型核武或骯髒彈。昔日我們害怕MAD（Mutual Assured Destruction），今天我們害怕WMD（Weapons of Mass Destruction/Disruption）。
對此，我覺得當日向廣島投下原子彈的轟炸機的副駕駛員劉易斯（Robert Lewis）說得好：「天哪，我們幹了些什麼？」
